In 2003, Ngarda Civil & Mining won the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships.

In 2004, General Manager Brian Hughey was a finalist in the DEWR Corporate Leaders in the category of Indigenous Employment Awards for Outstanding Manager.

Ngarda Civil & Mining was also a finalist in the Outstanding Organisation category in the same year.
